Vote for Tubbataha Reef as one of the 7 Wonders of Nature in the World

There’s something Pinoy’s should be proud of again.

Tubbataha Reef is nominated as one of the 7 Wonders of Nature in the World, making it the one and only entry of the Philippines to the prestigious search for new world wonders.

Tubbataha is a reef ecosystem in the middle of the Sulu Sea — the southernmost body of water of the Philippine territory. It’s wonder as an underwater haven for fishes and sea creatures as documented by well-known international journalist, has promoted the said reef covering more than 96 hectare to become a National Marine Park on August 11, 1988. Five years after, UNESCO hailed it as a World Heritage site.

Thanks for making an article/post about this and I would also like to take the one in friendster which posted this information on its Bulletin Board and that’s how I came to know it.

i have blogged about that in my site already.. i even promote it on friendster! although i don’t encourage people to vote for the unknown nominees. if they think that mt. fuji deserves a spot on the 7wonders, or any other site, then so be it. as long as they vote for tubbataha. cheers!

I also read some article on the newspaper about voting Chocolate Hills as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It was on Inquirer, I just don’t have the exact page and date.

Did someone also happen to read that one?
