A Fashion, Travel and the Fine Art of Photography Workshop Syllabus by Ross Capili

This workshop is ideal for enthusiasts, advanced amateurs and members of the fashion and travel industry, as well as travel buffs
and nature & art lovers. Participants need to be at least 18 years old with Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) Camera.

Day 1 ( July 11) – Theme : Glam Fashion Sense – Exploring The Light

• 6am : Models and production team’s call time (Check requirements : Fashion clothes and accessories)
• 8am : Registration of participants
• 9am : Introduction – Cebu Through The Lens ( Present the goal of the workshop and what to expect ) – A slide presentation with actual hands-on in camera handling and visualization e.g. composition, elements and improvisations
• 10am – 12 noon - Actual photo shoot
• 12nn- 130pm – Lunch and coffee break (downloading of images taken)
• 130pm – Call time for models and production team – create another look
• 130pm – 230pm -Actual outdoor portrait shoot incorporating different natural light and visual elements at harsh lighting situations. Proper metering.
• 230pm-330pm – Merienda break (downloading of images taken)
• 330pm – 430pm – Conceptual shoot with the models for both indoor and outdoor setting
• 430pm – 530pm Critiquing of images taken at Day 1 – What to expect on Day 2

Day 2 ( July 12) – Theme : Bikini Fashion Sense – The Beauty of the beach

• 6am : Models and production team’s call time (Check requirements : Bikini outfit and accessories)
• 8am : Participant’s check for gears
• 9am : Welcome back – Cebu Through The Lens ( Present the goal of the workshop and what to expect ) – A slide presentation with actual hands-on in shooting techniques and conceptualization e.g. right exposure and experimentation
• 10am – 12 noon - Actual photo shoot
• 12nn- 130pm – Lunch and coffee break (downloading of images taken)
• 130pm – Call time for models and production team – change outfit and create a different look
• 130pm – 230pm -Actual outdoor portrait shoot incorporating different natural light and visual elements at harsh lighting situations with models in bikini outfit
• 230pm-330pm – Merienda break (downloading of images taken)
• 330pm – 430pm – Conceptual shoot with the models in beach and lagoon setting
• 430pm – 530pm Analysis of images taken at Day 2 – Question and answer – Presentation of Certificate of Participation
