November 2009 Philippine Holidays

This post is to those who sent me emails and buzz’s about the official holidays this November 2009.

Please see the schedules below as certified by Presidential Proclamation 1699 and REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9492 , and the short description below:

  • November 1 (Sun) - All Saints Day
  • November 2 (Mon) – Non-Working Holiday
  • November 27 & 28 (Fri & Sat) - Eid al-Adha
  • November 30 (Mon) – Bonifacio Day

following these schedules, you have 3-day holidays from October 31 to November 2 and another 4-day long holiday from November27 – 30.

This long non-working days is part of the Philippine government’s effort of promoting domestic tourism and boosting local trade through “Holiday Economics.”

I have posted the details of this holidays in my previous post titled 2009 List of Philippine Holidays and Long Weekend.

Plan your holidays now this November.
