Firepower Pacquiao - Cotto The boxing ring is set as the world is glued in this years most awaited pound-for-pound event as Philippines Boxing champ Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao contends Puerto Rico’s pride and reigning WBO Welterweight Division Champion Miguel “Angel” Cotto for the title of the latter .

Both sides is a sure millionaire after the bout, win-or-lose. However the fights is more than money now as sports analyst says.

Pacquiao is out to make the record as the first boxer with 7 recognized world boxing titles. While Cotto, is out to prove that he is the next pound-for-pound boxer there is aside from the bragging right as the only contender who contributed a loss to Pacquiao’s feared scorecard.

What ever that is, there is a lot to prove on both sides.

Common question floating on blogs is “Who will win the first round of the Pacquiao-Cotto WBO Welterweight Division Championship fight?”, or “What will it take for Cotto to win against Pacquiao?”

One things for sure though. Recent news from both ABS-CBN and GMA 7 reveals that in every three bets in Las Vegas – the home of the Grand MGM Arena for Pacquiao is a bet for Cotto.

Cotto’s camp said they already expected the said acceptance and they are out to prove it today.
