In honor of Filipino nurses, the Commission on Filipinos Overseas through the Presidential Task Force on NCLEX, launched an essay writing competition open to all Filipino writers with the theme Heralds of Care: reflections on the Filipino nursing legacy of caring for the country and the world. Winning entries will be published as a compilation, and will be given a cash prize of P10,000.00 and a plaque of recognition from the organizers.
