The Middle East & North Africa Initiative supports projects that promote women’s rights and empowerment in the region. It looks to strengthen civil society organizations that work to combat violence against women and enhance the participation of women in governance. It encourages projects that target the most vulnerable and marginalized women in societies. Innovative approaches and projects addressing social, economic, and cultural rights for women are of particular interest. Deadline: on a rolling basis.
