Scholarship Description
In a partnership with the University of Queensland, Youngcare have provided funding for two PhD Scholarships in two areas:
- Social Innovation which examines the changing nature of not-for-profit organisations in Australia, with Youngcare being one of the organisations to be researched, undertaken in the UQ Business School; and
- Pathways and Choices for Young People with High Care Needs which examines the lived experiences of individuals and families as they make decisions about the transition from home to residential care with the aim of informing future service development to be undertaken in the Faculty of Health Sciences. Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to 2 people. Open for applications until October 10, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD25000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Business and management or Public health and health services.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Austria.
